I can see my old bed in the second picture :)
More pictures from Adolf’s house.
Oh, and I am nominated on Poppytalk again, this time for Favourite handmade artist’s blog, welcome to vote for me or someone else here :)

More pictures from Adolf’s house.
I will try to reply some of the questions you have:
* The house is situated in an almost deserted village up in the very north of Sweden
(1500 kilometers from Gothenburg). Abandoned houses like this are quite common
up there and hard to sell.
* The house’s condition looks much better in the pictures than it really is. The foundation
of the house has fallen into pieces and you can not go down to the basement anymore.
These pictures were taken 3 years ago and I guess those 3 years haven’t made the
house in a better condition ;)
* Adolf moved away about 20 years ago. He lived in this house together with his parents
and 11 brothers and sisters; that’s why there are still so many things left – he couldn’t
fit it all into his new apartment. I would love to go there and rescue some of the things
if I’m allowed.
I’m glad you enjoy the pictures.
Adolf’s house is my dream house, but its location isn’t :)

I haven’t been to Adolf’s house for almost 3 years, according to my dad it’s not possible to go indoors anymore. I don’t want to believe him :) There are many pictures from the house I haven’t posted, so I will make four posts from it this week.
Adolf is my great uncle and he’s still alive. He lives in an apartment twenty minutes car ride from his old house.

From today.
Look at that teapot, milkjar and sugarbowl. Found them in a second hand shop today and I’m going to bring them home and drink lots of tea this weekend + eat many oranges. Would be great to find some matching cups and saucers.
Next week I will give you a four-days-surprise. If you were following my old blog smosch.com you may like what I have to show you.

January 21 is Grateful Thursday (eh, maybe not, I just made it up).
Today I’m grateful for:
+ The black scarf by Loraine, I’ve been wearing it every day since it landed in Gothenburg.
+ The Sandra doll by Evie, we are wearing almost the same clothes today.
+ The Wrist Worms I finally made for myself.
+ An extra happy mind, much because I had a long fika yesterday evening with Johan (who has started updating his log again) and Kajsa (who just made her first website).
+ All the beautiful post I receive from all over the world from blog readers, you make me so glad!
+ That grey radiator in the background, it keeps me warm in my studio.
What are you grateful for today?

You can vote for me or someone else on Poppytalk if you want to. Thanks to the one who nominated me, I’ve never been in a competition like this before, it’ll be fun :)
