Vacation
July 18th, 2010

It’s vacation time. I will stop by here every now and then, but will post a little less
than usual for a few weeks :) And maybe there will be something said on my
twitter too.
See you!

A reminder:
Until tomorrow (about Friday July 16th, the offer stands until I’m awake on Saturday morning :)) there is a sale in my shop.
The prints are Buy 2, pay for 1* and the Numbers Poster has an $8 discount ($25 instead of $33).
To make it more clear: If you purchase 1 print (this goes for prints, not the numbers poster), please let me know which other print you would like for free :)
* And of course it’s also Buy 4, pay for 2 and so on.

Some random photos from the last couple of weeks.
Did anyone read anything particularly good lately?
I’m reading the best book I’ve read in ages – Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. It has everything; good stories,
great characters and beautiful insights, both small and… hmm suddenly big seems like a small word.

Yesterday evening Johan and I walked down to the sea to lie on a jetty and watch a
thunderstorm come closer. When it started to rain we felt the temperatures fall and some
rain dripping down. So refreshing. It’s been raining all night and I haven’t slept this good
in quite some time. It’s been around 30°C for some days and today it’s not much over 20°C.
Easier to breathe, easier to think. I decided to stay at home and work. A couple of weeks
ago I bought that bag on a fleamarket and it’s been hanging there since then, I haven’t
used it yet – it’s almost too beautiful.
Sometimes I wish I could write more here, but it’s hard for me to communicate through
words, easier with pictures although I often feel they don’t say what I want to say. Like all my
coffee pictures, they are pictures of very special moments with so many great discussions
with both laughter and tears and fights and plans for the future. But posting them here,
they are ‘just’ a picture of a cup of coffee, which isn’t so bad either – they make it free
for you to interpret and for you to connect to something in your lives. That is quite good :)
Thank you for coming back and thank you for always writing such nice things and telling
your stories.

Thanks to Irene I have got some beautiful photos to hang up on my walls.
& thanks to Malin I have a fabulous pillowcase for my studio, what a Friday!
Tack så mycket fina ni!
(& thanks to my mum I could buy myself new tights and a new dress)
FYI: The Summer Super Sale will go on for 1 more week.
