Most of these shots are in my Polaroids set on flickr.

Wish everyone a fine new week, mine started like this when getting off a tram:
- Moooove, you fuckin’ moron!!! (a man yells at another man who stands in the way)
- What the fuck?! GO TO HELL! (the standing-in-the-way-man yells back)
I couldn’t help myself, I started to laugh. They looked so angry.

I love Polaroids too! I got a camera for my birthday a couple years ago but have been saving up the film I stocked up on. Where do you get your film?

  7. Sandra wrote (on Mar 08, 2010 15:18):

gina: i bought it in a shop in gothenburg where i live.

What an amazing collection of polaroids!

It’s so funny, I’ve always thought of Scandinavians as very quiet and polite – it’s good to see they can be just as foul-mouthed as people around here! :-)

Wow Sandra, that polaroid wall is amazing! I would love to create one soon, hopefully. And my, that must be quite an encounter, huh to start off a week. ;)

    beautiful collection!

about ten years ago they came out with a mini polaroid camera that took like one inch by two inch photos you then pulled out of the camera and that were sticky on the back. they were for children, and my big bro and i loved ours. they didn’t make them very long, but there’s a kitchen cabinet in our childhood home covered in those tiny polaroids. your post makes me want to go look at them. it’s been to long :)

Beautiful photos like a patchwork quilt! The tram comments also made me laugh, crazy people out there. Your photos are a day brightener. Here in New England we have the first crocuses popping up, not open but I can see purple! Spring is on its way.

  12. Sandra wrote (on Mar 08, 2010 16:41):

deleilan: oh you should hear me… ;)
Alison: i had one of those too, but it got lost somehow, thank you for bringing back memories of it :)
chrisq: oh, i’m still waiting for the crocuses, enjoy them!

Good for you for laughing. Poor angry people. Happy Monday!

Yes, public transit really does allow one to see some utterly ridiculous displays of human behavior. All you can do is laugh! On my commute to work this morning, the entire subway car was serenaded by a man singing “I’m in the Mood for Love”, at full volume and on repeat, all the way from Brooklyn into Manhattan.

Thanks for the anecdote and the lovely wall of polaroids, Sandra.

I started my day by ALMOST sitting in cat puke! I decided right then and there that I was absolutely NOT going to let that set the stage for the rest of my week!:)

public transport creates such anger management issues :) a friend of mine saw two guys punching each other last week on the tube as one thought the other was stopping him from getting on!
