A walk home
February 9th, 2010

For the first time I’m blogging from bed.
Makes me wonder how many times a day one is doing something for the very first time.
I’m not going to count.
Good morning.

Good morning.

I’m making neck worms and plan to do a small collection of them. Finished one (in the first two pictures) this weekend and Johan tried it on and told me I couldn’t sell it – he wanted it because it was the most comfortable thing he had worn. Hmm… It is his birthday next month… We’ll see.
Today I’m drinking two different jasmine teas from Anna Emilia and Reka, crochet a square or two for my fourth and last grannysquare blanket (will be available in the shop when finished) and tonight I will go on knitting the second neck worm which is depicted in the last photo. It takes many hours to finish one, so satisfactory.

The semla breakfast I told you about. I went up at 8 in the morning and took a walk to my favourite bakery. Outside the bakery I met Morran.
My Monday is busy and it’s good! I’ve been packing and shipping orders from my shop and now I’m preparing for a couple of more posts for today. Some days there is just so much to tell, others there is less. Both is good :)

Pictures from a walk a couple of weeks ago.
I love film and I have much more to share from this roll of film.
Wish you a delightful Monday.

What do you look forward to the most this weekend?
I look forward to placing myself in the kitchen’s armchair and stay there to drink tea, think, read, knit and look at my husband cooking and baking. Maybe I’ll post some more of the newly developed roll of film – these are the first two pictures.
Every year Luleå (the town I lived in at the age of 1-20) makes a big ice sculpture in the park. See them here. I remember the fox very well. And the wolf. The best thing about the animals is that they all have a helter-skelter on their back :)

I’m knitting.
The striped neck worm is inspired by the rugs in Adolf’s house.
The yellow neck worm is the one inspired by this post, but I wasn’t completely satisfied with it, so I made balls of it to use for another scarf.
